WEDGWOOD FAIRYLAND LUSTRE TORCHES VASE.

Fairyland Lustre vase in the Torches pattern shows a bright yellow stairway illuminated by two brilliant torches. At the bottom of the stairway is a body of water in midnight lustre with water sprites. There is a white castle in the distance and a Japanese lantern against a flame sky. The vase has a flaring foot that is decorated with a flaming wheel border against a light blue background. Interior of the rim is also finished with a flaming wheel border. Signed on the underside with Portland vase mark, “Wedgwood Made in England” and “Z4968″ as well as an Issod Collection paper label. SIZE: 11-1/4” t. PROVENANCE: Betty & Leonard Issod Collection.
