WHEELING PEACH BLOW ROSE BOWL.

Unusual Wheeling Peach Blow rose bowl has bulbous body with heavily ruffled rim which rolls downward in front. Bowl has rich amber at bottom shading to deep fuchsia at rim with very good color gradation. Bowl has unusual lavender interior and applied amber lip. Unsigned. Bowl carries original paper label from ” Maude B. Feld”. Similar example is pictured in the exhibition catalog from A Century Of Glass Making In West Virginia Exhibition June 8th – September 1st, 1980, pg 13 item #45. Another similar example is pictured in the book Nineteenth Century Glass It’s Genesis and Development by Albert Christian Revi, pg 48. SIZE: 6″ dia.
