RARE COLT RICHARDS CONVERSION MODEL 1860 ARMY REVOLVER.

SN 5280. Cal. 44 RF. Honest, complete and authentic conversion made about 1875. Typical configuration of other examples with 8″ bbl and 2-line patent on left side of frame. This example retains most of its original nickel plate. PROVENANCE: The Estate of G. W. “Bill” Stewart of Sonora, Texas. CONDITION: Overall very good to fine. Much of nickel plating is retained as can be seen in photos, largest part of reductions on grip straps. Matching SN found on, bbl, frame, backstrap and cylinder. Grips and wedge not removed. Gun appears all original with exception of wedge screw, ejector housing screw and ejector rod which appear to be replacements. 49973-149 JS (2,000-3,000) – Lot 1270
