The larger has a hard pressed felt face with painted features, an elaborate mohair wig, wearing original felt dress with appliqued felt flowers, holding the original jump rope in her hands. The smaller doll is a mid 1920s period doll with so called dot eyebrows, wearing a short dress with appliqued flowers and cloche hat. SIZE: Larger: 19-1/2″ t (50cm). Smaller: 15″ t (38cm). PROVENANCE: The Madelyn Trotter Collection. CONDITION: Both dolls have some typical surface dust and fading especially the smaller one, a few moth holes especially in the shoes. 1-14455, 1-15125 (500-700) – Lot 1262
