*REMINGTON MODEL 1889 GRADE 2 SHOTGUN SURVIVING IN AMAZING ORIGINAL CONDITION.

SN 233066. Cal. 10ga. Chambers 3″, 32″ Damascus twist bbls, solid matted rib with sgl metal bead. Top rib marked “REMINGTON ARMS CO, ILION, NY, USA” on rib at breech. Choke FULL/FULL. Splinter type forend with ebony inlay at tip. Remington Grade 2 hammer action with 1889 style circular hammers. Dbl triggers. Straight grain walnut with uncapped pistol grip. 14-1/4″ LOP. DAC 1-3/4″, 2-7/8″ DAH. CONDITION: This is a wonderful graded Remington hammer gun which shows quality workmanship. Bbls retain significant orig bold brown twist pattern. Bbls ring true. Fine bores are bright, shiny and unpitted. No dents or dings. Sharp under-barrel markings. Receiver has sharp edges; beautiful finish with orig color in protected areas on sides, top and underside. Straight grain stock and forearm are uncracked with sharp checkering and much orig finish. Minor handling marks commensurate with age. Hard black Remington logo buttplate with widow’s peak. Excellent screws throughout. Top lever right of center. This gun locks up extremely tight, hammers and triggers crisp.
