Bisque socket head with brown paperweight eyes with an excellent modeling of the lips, incised “Bru Jne 8″, mounted on separate bisque shoulder plate with similar markings. Body is white kid with gussets at hips and knees; leather upper arms and bisque forearms have been replaced with the bisque arms appearing to be modern. The 1890s style silk dress has been well executed and made of old fabrics, the blonde mohair wig is also a new replacement. SIZE: 23” t (58 cm). PROVENANCE: The Madelyn Trotter Collection.
