SN 66205. Cal. 12 ga. 28″ plain bbl, “Full” choke. Foliate scroll work at breech end of bbl. Magazine cap has engraved face. Receiver treated to E grade type engraving of generous flowing scroll work. Left side engraved with vignette of flying duck in marsh. Right side is partially covered by foliate scrolls. SN is hand engraved ahead of loading port on bottom and on lower tang. Trigger guard and rear receiver face treated to foliate engraving with scroll work on upper tang. Gun is fitted with moderately grained walnut semi-pistol grip buttstock with 5/8″ factory buttplate. Initial oval in toe line inscribed “C.A. Martin”. LOP 14-3/8″. CONDITION: Very good. Barrel and receiver retain most of their orig blue with some very faint marks and wear to sharp edges. Some very minor oxidation peppering on receiver top. Forend is nice with a few fine hairline cracks where it meets receiver. Buttstock/forend retain orig finish commensurate with age of gun with some hand wiped oil finish added. Mechanics fine.
