TWO EARLY 20TH CENTURY LADY DOLLS.

Doll in lace cap is a bisque shoulder head incised “FG” with stationary blue glass eyes, closed mouth, on a firm stuffed cloth body with papier mache hands holding a jump rope. She is in all original regional clothing and necklace with a cross. The other is an unusual socket head doll incised “Paris GD4″, with slender face, blue glass stationary eyes, closed mouth with slight smile, mounted to a 5-pc composition body and wearing a 1920s era two piece velvet ensemble with fur collar. SIZE: FG 14″ t (35cm); GD 12” t (31cm). PROVENANCE: The Madelyn Trotter Collection. CONDITION: Very good on both; slight speckling to cheeks of FG. 1-14419, 1-14420 (500-700) – Lot 1254
