NEAT COLT 1ST MODEL DRAGOON COPY PERHAPS OF SPANISH ORIGIN.

SN NSN. Cal. 44. 7-3/8″ rnd bbl, blade front sight, loading lever, six shot cyl. 1-pc walnut grips. Backstrap and trigger guard appear to be brass. Trigger guard is square back just like a Colt 1st model Dragoon. PROVENANCE: The Estate of G. W. “Bill” Stewart of Sonora, Texas. CONDITION: Good, all metal surfaces with scattered staining and light salt and pepper pitting throughout. Grips are good with shrinkage, light scratches and handling marks. Loading assembly replaced and is good overall. Mechanics are good. Bore is dark with light scattered corrosion. 49973-113 JSL121 (800-1,200) – Lot 1253
