SN 98600. Cal. 12 ga. 28″ matted solid rib “Full” choke bbl. Breech has 5″ wedge of scroll engraving on right side and 2-1/2″ wedge on left with engraved banner around address. Engr “6” on bottom chamber confirms as Grade 6 Premier. Magazine cap face is engraved with circular scroll in center with geometric design and punch dot border. The receiver is handsomely engraved in superb full coverage bold foliate scroll and stippled background w/six panel game scenes. Back of receiver, top tang and trigger guard are similarly engraved. Hand engraved SN ahead of loading port and on lower tang. Stocked with nicely figured walnut, multi-point checkered round knob pistol grip and Remington marked buttplate. Fluted forend with multi-point checkering. Buttstock has blank initial oval in toe line. LOP 13-5/8″. CONDITION: Very fine. Barrel and receiver retain a very high percentage of orig blue with some minor thinning and handling marks. Buttstock is sound with a tight hairline on left site at receiver.
