SN 13098. Cal. 35 Remington. 22″ bbl, engraved at breech. Silver bead front sight and correct semi-buckhorn rear sight with folding receiver peep sight. Receiver engraved in D grade arabesque scroll work on sides and top of receiver. Bottom of receiver with wavy line and punch dot engraving. SN engraved on bottom front receiver, surrounded by scroll. Top and bottom tang with border line and scroll engraving. Bottom of magazine and trigger guard with scroll coverage. Gun is fitted with semi-fancy nicely grained American walnut showing nice figure and color. Straight grip with side cheek panels. Forend and buttstock checkered in 3-point pattern. Slightly curved hard rubber buttplate with Remington Arms Co logo. CONDITION: Very good plus. Bbl jacket retains nearly all orig rich blue with slight loss at muzzle and slight handling marks. Receiver retains nearly all blue with high edge and carry wear to underside in front of receiver and bottom and edges of magazine box. Original finish on buttstock and forend shows wear from carry and use with assorted handling marks. Buttplate has a minor chip at toe. Mechanics good. Bright bore.
