*EARLY WINCHESTER MODEL 62 PUMP RIFLE. Cal. 22. Early rifle with 23″ tapered round bbl, standard open sights, 3/4 magazine, small round bullet shaped, ribbed forearm with straight stock and checkered steel buttplate. This is a first year production rifle with the Winchester trademark logo on the top tang and the steel buttplate. SN 7749. CONDITION: Very good, plus. Bbl and exposed part of magazine tube retain about 95% strong bright original blue. Receiver retains 65-70% flaked dull blue with the bottom and top tangs a silver patina. Wood is sound with the forearm retaining about 20% original varnish and the stock about 80% original varnish with only minor nicks and scratches.
