KPM porcelain plaque depicts two young maidens and an elderly woman. The dark haired young maiden has a red dress and a bouquet of flowers in her lap, while the blond maiden has sheer fabric wrapped around her torso holding a spool of thread. The elderly woman in paupers clothing holds a pair of sheers. Artist signed in lower right corner “Thumann”. Marked on back with impressed scepter mark “KPM” and “H”. Plaque is housed in elaborate gilt frame. SIZE: Plaque 7-1/2″ x 10-1/4″. Overall 13″ x 15-3/4″. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 50501-198 (4,750-5,250) – Lot 1244
