*ARMALITE AR-17 SEMI-AUTO SHOTGUN. Cal. 12ga. Unusual all alloy semi-auto shotgun with 22-1/2″ plain alloy bbl with steel sleeve having a patented choke at the muzzle. The alloy receiver has etched coarse vine engraving with a black alloy trigger group, gold plated trigger and safety with brown Tenite stock and forearm with the stock having an original brown recoil pad. Accompanied by an original owners manual, a sales slip dated 1977 for this shotgun and a letter dated November 1977 from Armalite identifying this shotgun as having been made in October 1964. As of the date of the letter, these shotguns had not been produced for over ten years. SN 00381. CONDITION: As new. Retains virtually all its original finish to both metal and plastic.
