Head stamped in red “DEPOSE TETE JUMEAU Bte SGDG16” with large blue paperweight eyes, applied ears, closed mouth with white space between the lips, evenly arched eyebrows and painted lashes. Original wood and composition body with straight wrists and stamped in blue on the torso “JUMEAU MADAILLE D’OR Paris”. She is costumed in an antique cotton dress with ribbon insertions at the waist, along with a matching red wool coat and hat with faux leopard skin collar and an antique dark human hair wig over a cork pate. SIZE: 34-1/2″ t (88cm). PROVENANCE: The Madelyn Trotter Collection.
