*RIZZINI DOUBLE BARREL SHOTGUN. Cal. 20ga. Imported by Abercrombie & Fitch and so marked on the left bbl. Bbls are 26″ with raised matted rib and single brass bead, dbl lump with third fastener, choked MOD/IMP-CYL. Box lock receiver has basic decorations with dbl scalloped back edges, is case colored with dbl triggers and extractors. Wood is straight grain walnut with checkered splinter forearm and Prince of Wales stock, having checkered round knob semi-pistol grip stock, 14-1/8″ over a replacement black composition buttplate. The last 1-1/2″ of the buttstock has been reattached using the original cut off piece with the wood remaining unfinished. Accompanied by a Dunn’s padded camouflage soft carrying case. SN 4371. CONDITION: Bbls retain most of a restored rust-blue over fine pitting at the breech end with a couple of minor scratches. Receiver retains 95-96% original brilliant case colors with most of the original shellac covering. Wood is sound with the aforementioned reattached piece. Forearm retains 90% original varnish and the buttstock, about 65%. Bright shiny bores. 4-46141 JR430 (800-1,200)
