*BEAUTIFULLY ENGRAVED RARE MERIDEN FIREARMS MODEL 15 DELUXE SLIDE ACTION RIFLE.

SN 4318. Cal. 22. 24″ octagon bbl. Lyman ivory sporting bead front sight. Marbles blank in rear sight dovetail. Folding tang sight with large aperture. Takedown receiver which is nicely engraved. Factory style pattern. Left side with oval vignette of two rabbits surrounded by arabesque scroll, with foliate scroll above and line engraved borders. Knurled takedown screw with floral engraving on face. Right side of receiver engraved with oval vignette of two squirrels surrounded by arabesque style engraving and lined engraved borders. 3-point pattern checkered forend and buttstock which is nicely grained. Barrel and magazine tube retain nearly all their reapplied rich blue. Edges and markings remain sharp. Minor scratch on action bar from cycling. Receiver engraving is sharp. Receiver has all of its blue, as does the trigger guard, tangs & buttplate. Vivid case color on trigger. Beautiful wood finish with nary a blemish. Sharp checkering.
