*EARLY LC SMITH GRADE 2 DOUBLE BARREL SHOTGUN. Cal. 12ga. Fine old double with 29-3/4″ bbls that appear to be original choked FULL/MOD, side lock receiver with light decoration having quail and duck game scenes. Fitted with Hunter one-trigger and extractors. Wood appears to be old replacement with an oversized beavertail forearm and semi-pistol grip stock, 14-1/2″ over a poorly installed Pachmayer pad. SN 300013. CONDITION: Very good. Bbls retain 93-95% dull original blue with a thin spot over the forearm area and a series of small dings. Receiver and lock plates retain 10-15% case colors with the balance turned silver. Wood is sound and retains most of its custom oil finish. Bright shiny bores. 4-46578 JR184 (600-1,000)
