Bisque head is incised “R1D” with blue/grey paperweight eyes, multi stroke eyebrows and finely painted lashes, open mouth with six upper teeth, and mounted to the original fully jointed French wood and composition body with fine original finish. Costume consists of a cream colored lace and silk dress with a burgundy velvet waist coat with silk ribbons. The dark wig is a replacement and covers the original cork pate. SIZE: 21″ t (53cm). PROVENANCE: The Madelyn Trotter Collection. CONDITION: Original baking flaw above the right ear extending from the rim; small v-shaped scratch on forehead (not a crack). 1-14408 (800-1,200) – Lot 1226
