CIVIL WAR SIGNAL CORPS FIELD GLASSES. 6-5/8″ French field glasses are the type used by soldiers during the Civil War. The blackened brass eyepiece rings are marked “LEMAIRE FABt A PARIS”. Marked “U.S. SIGNAL” on bridge between eyepieces. CONDITION: The leather/string covering on the bbls is badly corroded, but this has not affected the metal or the optics. Interior is very dirty.
