SPRINGFIELD 2ND ALLEN CONVERSION WITH BAYONET. NSN. Cal. .50-70, 32-5/8″ round bbl. Missing the ramrod but has a later sling added. Dated 1864 on the lock, 1866 on the breech block. CONDITION: Gray patina overall with light surface rust and pitting. Wood has been repaired at the wrist, heavily sanded and re-oiled. Bayonet has been shortened to 14-1/2″. 4-46002 FS332 (250-400)
