Cast bronze with green patina Issued by the Musee Bartholdi, Colmar France in an edition of 4000; bears a plaque on verso which reads “Modele original de la statue/ de la liberte par Bartholdi no. 96/ 4000/ musee Bartholdi, Colmar, France c SLCC” Note: A similar bronze was recently sold at Christie’s, New York (Jan. 23, 2015, lot 57) for $8,750.
