Beautiful pale bisque head incised “F.16.G.” with stunning pale blue bulbous paperweight eyes, closed mouth with lightly shaded lips and tongue tip showing between them, mounted to an antique German wood and composition body. She wears a light cotton and lace dress and white leather children’s shoes, and a light brown mohair wig over cork pate. SIZE: 35″ t (89cm). PROVENANCE: The Madelyn Trotter Collection. CONDITION: Neck socket has been repaired and repainted with possible minor repair at the back of the head near the incised markings. 1-14482 (3,000-4,000) – Lot 1212
