*RARE WILHELMSHAVEN DOCKYARD UNIT MARKED DWM 1906 NAVY LUGER PISTOL.

SN 8191. Cal. 9mm Luger, 6″ bbl, DWM scroll on center toggle link. 100/200m adjustable Navy sight on rear toggle link. Navy Crown/M Acceptance Proofs on left receiver, 1st issue Gesichert safety marking has been altered to the upper position by the Imperial Navy. Numbered parts on the gun are matching including the checkered walnut grips. Firing pin is unnumbered. Grip safety. Rear grip strap is marked “W.W./1194” (Wilhelmshaven Dockyard, weapon #1194). Proper Navy magazine with concentric circles on wood bottom is Crown/M proofed and has numbers that do not match. SIZE: The Estate Collection of Phil A. Bleakney, Jr. CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 96% original blue and 85% original straw, light wear on sharp edges and corners with a few areas of light spotting. Grips are lightly worn with visible wood grain. Bore has light pitting. Magazine has minor chips on wood bottom and light corrosion on body.
