SN 56027. Cal. 35 Rem. 24″ bbl having type 3A bbl markings. Bottom of bbl has “41” date and no caliber marking. Second type transition safety. Bolt body is dished under SN indicating re-marking to matched rifle. Cloverleaf tang receiver with clip loading slots and un-drilled matted rear bridge. Two partition mag box with 2-9/16″ opening stamped “7”. Short mag follower and spring. Extractor stamped “R”. Proper 250-3000 extractor ring. Incorrect standard style ejector. PROVENANCE: The Jon Roark Collection. CONDITION: Bbl, receiver and bolt handle retain nearly all their restored rust blue finish. Floorplate and trigger guard have orig blue showing small scratches and slight edge wear. Re-blued bluttplate. Stock has very good re-finish showing a few small marks.
