SN 93982. Cal. 35 Rem. Third type rifle with 24″ bbl having type 3A markings, bottom of bbl marked “35 Rem” with “47” date marking. Stippled ramp hooded 103C front sight with 22G rear sight. Bolt shows evidence of renumbering to match receiver. Two partition mag box with 2-9/16″ opening stamped “7”. Short mag follower and spring. Extractor show evidence of grinding on face and is stamped “R”. Proper 250-3000 style ejector and extractor ring. Low comb walnut stock with hand checkering, sling swivels and checkered steel buttplate. PROVENANCE: The Jon Roark Collection. CONDITION: Bbl has good blue with small scratches and spots of wear. Receiver with good matte blue. Bolt handle shows some blue wear on knob. Trigger guard and floorplate show light edge wear. Buttplate is re-blued. Refinished stock showing scattered light marks.
