*WINCHESTER MODEL 70 ALASKAN PRE-64 BOLT ACTION RIFLE.

SN 408597. Cal. 338 Win Mag. Alaskan grade rifle as produced from 1959-1963. 25″ bbl with fitted ramp front sight and folding leaf rear sight. Walnut Monte Carlo stock with orig solid red recoil pad, sling swivels and standard pattern hand checkering. SN marking on bottom of bolt unusually dark and strong. Orig bolt tag with proper SN is still in place on bolt handle. Includes orig box with properly numbered label and hand tag. PROVENANCE: The Jon Roark Collection. CONDITION: 99% blue showing very slight edge wear on floorplate. Stock finish is very good showing only a few light indentations and marks. Bore very good. Box lid has tear 14-1/2″ from label end.
