VERY FINE COLT MODEL 1849 PERCUSSION REVOLVER.

SN 112345. Cal. 31. Classic 4″ barreled Colt pocket made in 1856 has great aesthetics retaining original finish, 100% original authentic and matching. PROVENANCE: The Estate of G. W. “Bill” Stewart of Sonora, Texas. CONDITION: Very good to fine overall. Bbl retains about 30% thinning blue finish. Cylinder shows traces of blue in protected areas. Overall plum/gray with several small dings and dents. Rolled cylinder scene is 80-90% visible. Frame is overall smooth and gray with weakly struck patent mark on the left side. Trigger guard retains most of its dull silver plating. Grips are sound and well-fit with small blemishes retaining over 90% original varnish with edge wear.
