CHARLES SCHULZ (American, 1922-2000) SIGNED HAND COLORED COMIC STRIP CAMPAIGN FOR BANNING DOGS FROM RIDING IN THE BACK OF PICK UP TRUCKS.

Colored marker & crayon on black & white printed contact sheet Unframed, mounted to a foam board Signed with inscription “Best wishes Charles M Schulz” in black marker The original concept drawing which was a commission for the county of San Diego Bureau of Animal Control is in the possession of the Schulz Foundation. They are unsure of how many stages the cartoon went through to get to its final completion stage. This work is one of the steps Schulz executed in the process of producing the completed commissioned work as evidenced by the absence of a final date in one of the cells “(2-)” SIZE: 17″ x 24″.
