H NOCK DOUBLE BARREL PERCUSSION SHOTGUN. Cal. about 14 bore. Fine old shotgun with 27-1/2″ damascus bbls that appear to have been amputated a little. Top rib with an engraved dog over the breech. Top rib has the makers name and address and the inscription “GUN MAKER TO HIS MAJESTY”. Breech has platinum blow-put pugs and is fitted with fine front action engraved lockplates and game scene engraved triggerguard. 1-pc wood stock with broken and repaired wrist. Front trigger is substantially shorter than the rear. CONDITION: About good. Shows heavy wear, gray-brown bbls with 20% pattern, repaired wrist and refinished wood.
