Fine pair of silver compotes by WC Codman have hand hammered finish in floral and leaf design surrounding lip and foot, each piece is hand hammered to beautiful finish. Inscribed on underside of foot with ornate monogram and “December 25th 1913”. Each piece is signed “Martele” with Gorham hallmarks as well as “9584” and “YRP”. In addition each piece is signed on underside “W.C. Codman 1909”. SIZE: 10″ dia x 3-3/4″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with some minor scratches to interior bottom of compotes. 50319-9 (10,000-15,000) – Lot 1184
