TIFFANY STUDIOS DOUBLE STUDENT LAMP BASE.

Tiffany Studios double student lamp has artichoke decorated circular platform foot with beaded trim at the bottom and raised ribbing on the top leading to a simple adjustable stem with two slightly curving arms leading to adjustable acid etched shade holders. Base is finished with a central looped handle with loose ring and is finished with a rich brown patina. Signed on the underside “Tiffany Studios New York 316”. SIZE: Adjusts from 24″ to 26″ t. CONDITION: Female threads for set screws on one shade holder are missing and nuts have been crudely soldered on inside of shade holder as replacement. Both sockets need to be replaced. Screw holding underplate on base is replacement, otherwise very good condition. Rewired with contemporary plastic cord. 42052-59 (1,750-2,250) – Lot 1180
