*ITHACA FLUES MODEL GRADE 4 DOUBLE BARREL SHOTGUN. Cal. 12ga. Fine old shotgun with 30″ bbls choked IMP-MOD/IMP-CYL. Box lock receiver is lightly engraved with game scenes of bird dogs and a flying duck on the floorplate with woodcock on the trigger bow surrounded by arabesque patterns, dbl. triggers and extractors. Wood is nicely figured American walnut with beautifully carved splinter forearm and fleur di lis checkered pistol grip, 14-1/4″ over an old J.C. Higgins red waffle pad. SN 205000. CONDITION: Good to very good. Bbls retain 97-98% fine re-black finish. Receiver has been cleaned bright. Forearm retains most of its original varnish. Stock is sound and retains 75-80% original varnish with some bore cleaner streaks. Triggers retain 50-75% original gold wash. Strong bright bores. 4-46580 JR182 (800-1,500)
