SN 11998. Cal. 44. Standard configuration with 7-1/2″ bbl, blade front sight, six shot rnd cyl. SN and inspectors mark on bbl assembly, frame, trigger guard and butt. Left side of frame marked “COLT’S PATENT US”. 1-pc walnut grip with remnants of original cartouche. Brass front and backstrap. PROVENANCE: The Estate of G. W. “Bill” Stewart of Sonora, Texas. CONDITION: Good. No original finish remains on steel surfaces, light staining and scattered minor surface erosion throughout. Cyl scene is approximately 30-40% visible. Grips are very good with light handling marks and minor repair to right grip, chip at toe. Faint cartouche. Mechanics very good.
