LOT OF TWO EDGED WEAPONS 1) Klingenthal saber. The 30-1/4″ dbl-fuller blade is etched on both sides, but the design is indistinct. Manufacturer’s mark is engraved on the back of the blade. Leather scabbard has brass mountings. CONDITION: Heavy rust on blade, scabbard is broken, hilt is good. 2) French Chassepot bayonet made at St. Etienne in November of 1867. Has metal scabbard with different issue markings. CONDITION: Blade is good, scabbard is heavily pitted and does not fit the blade well. 4-47419 4-47432 FS316 (300-400)
