MOSER WINE CHILLER & SALT DIP SET.

Lot consists of a decorated Moser wine chiller which is decorated with vertical rows of squares each containing enameled blue and yellow flowers with gilded leaves and stems. Each square is separated by a gilded border with cream colored enamel corners. The chiller is finished with a brass collar, handle and base with four ball feet. Wine chiller is accompanied by a Moser salt dip set with multicolored intaglio carved salt dips housed within an ornate brass frame which is finished with multicolored bezel set glass jewels. Each of the salt dips are signed with lightly etched script signature “Moser”. SIZE: Chiller is 11″ t to top of handle. Salt dip is 8-1/4″ t to top of handle. PROVENANCE: George Klabin Collection. CONDITION: Wine chiller has had solder repair to ball feet. Salt dips have a few minor fleabites to outside lips; two of the salt dips have had chips ground on the outside edge.
