IDENTIFIED BRITISH BAYONET. For Model 1858 Enfield musket. Marked “E/crown/30″ at the heel of the 17” triangular blade. Marked on the socket “31/283”. Leather of the scabbard is marked with the Canadian War Department markings. Markings on the blade and socket identify it as being part of the Earl Grey’s Rifles or 68th Regiment of the 2nd British Columbia. CONDITION: Blade is slightly bent at the tip. Scabbard is sound with good patina on the brass. 4-46128 FS745 (200-250)
