*ITHACA KNICK GRADE 5 SINGLE BARREL TRAP GUN.

SN 405063. Cal. 12 ga. 32″ ventilated rib bbl 2-3/4″ chamber. Full choke. Raybar type front sight and center bead. Automatic ejector. Foliate scroll engraving on sides of bbl breeches. Trap style beaver tail forend with forend latch and iron nicely engraved. Grade 5 receiver. Left side engraved with gold pheasant inlay inside oval, with balance of side panel covered with deep foliate scroll and chain link border. Right side receiver engraved with gold woodcock inside oval with balance of side panel covered with deep foliate scroll and chain link border. Receiver top matted with borders engraved with punch dots and wavy lines. Floorplate engraved with foliate scroll. Belly of receiver with engraved eagle and Ithaca address. Engraved screws. Trigger bow has foliate scroll as does top tang. Forend and capped pistol grip buttstock are select fancy grain figured walnut. Checkered side panels with fleur-de-lis checkering pattern on grip. Ithaca sunburst recoil pad. LOP 14-1/2″ over pad. DAC 1-1/2″. DAH 2″. CONDITION: Barrel retains very high percentage of orig blue, with slight wear at muzzle. Right side of bbl has raisin size patch of oxidation which is bright. Minor scratches and handling marks. Blue loss on underside of bbl at forend contact points. Bore shiny, may have had slight polish. Receiver has nice amount of deep case color with underside showing wear from use. Screws are excellent. Nice trigger bow blue, silvering at edges. Lower tang has gone bright from use. Both stock and forend have been refinished with checkering worn mostly smooth and filled with finish. Slight separation between buttstock and recoil pad.
