Bacchus pitcher has a figural handle with a lovely art nouveau maiden with flowing hair and gown holding a cluster of grapes with clusters of grapes in her hair. The body of the pitcher is further decorated with grapes, vines and leaves and the face of Bacchus in relief under the pitcher’s spout. Marked on the underside “Made in Austria 4569”. Illustrated in Monsters and Maidens: Collectors Edition, Byron Vreeland, pg. 454. SIZE: 13″ t.
