AUSTRIAN BOWL IN METAL STAND.

Austrian square bowl has rolled rim and is decorated with a flowing iridescent design showing strong red, green and purple highlights. Bowl has an amethyst glass interior with a small bit of iridescence in the bottom. Bowl is housed in a 4 legged stand with acanthus leaf decoration at the top of each leg and a curtain and tassel design surrounding the top of stand, 4 curving arms extend upward to hold the bowl in place. Unsigned. SIZE: 10-1/2″ t (top of metal arms) x 8-1/2″ sq. PROVENANCE: Dr. Mark Jackson Collection. CONDITION: Small line at top corner of the bowl which initially looked like a crack but when viewed under magnification it is just a small flaw in the making and the edges are rounded, otherwise very good to excellent. 49863-16 (900-1,200) – Lot 1157
