Wood 1874” Note: It is possible that this work was one of a pair with the companion “Prosperous Black” was published in Harper’s Weekly in 1875. This “A Poor White” is to be included in the forthcoming catalog raisonne of the artist’s work in preparation Paul Worman for the T.W. Wood Art Gallery in Montpelier, VT. SIZE: 10-1/4″ x 7-1/4.
