*RARE MERIDEN ARMS “58 DIAMOND” GRADE 12 GA SHOTGUN.SN 40870. Cal. 12 ga. 2-3/4″ Cham. 30″ fine Damascus bbls, Meriden legend stamped on rib. Case colored sidelock action features small game bird vignettes surrounded by scroll flourishes and “THE NEW AUBREY” on the toe of each lockplate. Receiver floorplate and trigger bow also engraved in fanciful scroll work. Double trigger extractor. Fine fancy feather crotch walnut, splinter forend, capped pistol grip, multi point checkering, horn buttplate, 13-7/8″ LOP. CONDITION: Very fine. Gun retains most of its factory orig finish. Bbls with strong Damascus pattern with a few light rubs and thin spots to the bbl brown. Receiver retains most of its factory case color vivid in protected areas, the balance turning silver. Stock and forend are sound with sharp checkering and a few scattered rubs and dings from handling. Buttplate good.
