DAUM CAMEO GLASS SCONCE.

Daum sconce has cameo glass shade with mottled green, amber and yellow stylized cameo leaves descending from the fitter against and acid textured green shading to clear, frosted background. The shade is signed in cameo “Daum Nancy” with the Cross of Lorraine. Shade is housed in a silvered metal fixture depicting a large, long-necked bird with open wings supporting the shade holder in its beak, with stylized flowers and vines below. Fixture is unsigned. SIZE: Shade 6″ l. Fixture 8″ l. PROVENANCE: From an Unreserved Texas Estate. CONDITION: Some very minor roughness to edge of fitter on shade. Silvered finish on sconce has some minor wear and discoloration, otherwise very good to excellent. Rewired with contemporary plastic cord.
