COLT SINGLE ACTION REVOLVER. SN 3022. Cal. .45LC, 3-5/8″ round bbl. This gun has been altered to a Sheriff’s Model with ejector housing cut remaining in the frame. The factory letter shows that it was shipped to J. P. Moores Sons, in New York City, 28 November 1876 with no listing for bbl length or stocks. Bbl has the short 2-line address. The SN have been removed from the triggerguard, backstrap and cylinder, and there was none to start with on the bbl. Some screws and probably the grips are replaced. CONDITION: Polished overall with light to moderate pitting. Grips are fine, action is good. 4-47125 FS411 (1,000-1,500)
