*RARE WINCHESTER MODEL 1894 SADDLE RING CARBINE WITH 3/4 LENGTH MAGAZINE AND SHOTGUN BUTTPLATE.

SN 622600. Cal. 30 WCF. 20″ bbl. 3/4 magazine. Blue finish. Straight grained American walnut stocks with Winchester hard rubber shotgun buttplate. Saddle ring. PROVENANCE: The Dr. Robert G. Cox Estate Collection. Special Note: This item contains or is made of ivory. This information is located in the front section of our catalog. CONDITION: Very good. Bbl and magazine retain 20-30% gray-blue finish overall with some erosion at muzzle and muzzle wear. Sights are very good. Bbl markings are clear and sharp. Bore is dark with strong rifling. Receiver is a gray-brown patina overall with some staining especially on right side. Hammer an lever are also an even gray-brown patina. Stocks are very good with numerous scratches and dents under a old varnish refinish. Forend had been cleaned. Buttplate has clear logo, good checkering with numerous dents and bruises. bbl band is gray-brown patina.
