SN 201295. Cal. 12 ga. Bbl #1: 30″ fluid steel with gold bar with engraved pigeon on rib. MOD & FULL chokes. Chambers are lengthened to 2-3/4″. Bbl #2: 30″ Damascus steel with pigeon engraved on top, gold inlaid bar is missing. CYL & IMP-CYL chokes. Chambers are 2-3/4″. Case colored sidelock action with hand engraving featuring pigeons on lockplates surrounded by arabesque scroll and straight line borders. Trigger guard bow has owner name “J.D.L. Hartman”. Dbl triggers with auto ejectors. Both sets of bbls have individual splinter forearm of checkered walnut with ebony inlaid tips. Half pistol grip stock of checkered fancy thin shell walnut. LOP: 14″ over crushed and age hardened Noshoc pad. leather covered 2-bbl case with accessory compartment in lid. Inside of lid marked with owner name “J.D.L. Hartman”. Accessory compartment contains second forearm with leather covered Heike’s hand protector, cleaning rod, brushes, patch jags, Tomlinson gun cleaner, Ideal gun cleaner and shaving brush. CONDITION: Bbl #1 retains 70% dull fading orig blue and have good bores. Right bbl has unraised dent 8-1/2″ from muzzle. Bbl #2 has faded browned finish still showing Damascus pattern. Bores are generally bright some very light pitting. Left bbl has evidence of raised dent 14-1/8″ from muzzle. Ejectors are out of time and not functioning. Both forearms have aged darken appearance with worn checkering.
