LOT OF 3 EUROPEAN MOTORCYCLES.1) The French cycle depicts a goggled driver and the sidecar houses a jointed female passenger. We are uncertain if she is original to the toy, but she looks great sitting within. The bike is marked “Made in France” with the company logo and “Paris SFA” (Society of Fabrication and Assembly). A really scarce bike in exceptional all original condition with just minimal scuffs. Interestingly enough, the bike has no mechanism and was just a push toy. 2) Very detailed unit manufactured by Tipp. Front wheel is adjustable to control direction. Even more amazing is the original clear plastic windshield is riveted in place and is intact. Again, this is a very scarce bike and a great opportunity to find one in such great condition. Windup is in functional condition. 3)Manufactured by Mettoy (English) is a finely and intricately detailed lithographed cycle. Exterior windup mechanism on left rear side, which is working order. Overall this toy is in very fine condition with some scuffs, most notable to policeman’s arms and left side of body. Otherwise, in very choice condition. SIZE: 6-1/2″ l, 7″, and 8″ l, respectively. PROVENANCE: The Estate of Carol and Jerry Soling. CONDITION: As stated above. Just a nice clean grouping of choice cycles. 1-14792 (600-900) – Lot 1128 Auction: Advertising, Toy & Doll Auction - Fall 2014 Please Note: All prices include the hammer price plus the buyer’s premium, which is paid by the buyer as part of the purchase price.
