Lot consists of a large decorated serving bowl and a matching small serving bowl. Each is brightly enameled with insects and fern leaves on a finely cased Webb-style blank. Background glass shades from amber to red and is slightly opalescent. Each bowl is finished with a gilded lip. Bowls are pictured in the book Moser Glass: The Klabin Collection by Gary D. Baldwin, pg. 116, plate 150. SIZE: 10″ and 5″ dia. PROVENANCE: George Klabin Collection. CONDITION: Large bowl has a tight hairline approx. 3″ long extending from the lip inward.
