DESIRE CHRISTIAN CAMEO VASE.

Desire Christian vase has cameo figure of a maiden in flowing dress squeezing grapes into a coupe with cameo grape leaves, vines and clusters adorning the sides and back of the vase. All against a burgundy and cream background. The tall slender neck of the vase is finished in a light martele. Vase is completed with two applied clear glass handles with light green cameo grape leaves, vines and clusters. Inscribed below the maiden “La Vigne”. Signed on the underside with etched signature “D. Christian Meisenthal Loth” with martele work behind the signature. SIZE: 13-5/8″ t. PROVENANCE: From a prominent Midwest collection.
