TOWER MODEL 1858 RIFLE. NSN. Cal. .577, 33″ round bbl, with bayonet lug. The bayonet accompanying the lot is for an Austrian Model 1842 musket, dated 1863 on the lock. CONDITION: Generally very good with rust-brown patina on the bbl and hammer. Brass has been cleaned and is toning slightly with spots of corrosion. Sling swivel in the bottom of the stock is missing. There is a small crack at the rear lock screw, otherwise very good. 4-45931 FS358 (500-1,000)
